Really enjoyed this article. Cabbage is one of my favorite cold-weather vegetables. Something about its flavor and texture just go well with other hearty foods. It's also a nice contrast to some of those richer dishes like bratwurst or beef stews.

When I am short on time I just quickly saute some onions in butter and olive oil, add cabbage, a bit of wine and vinegar, and a pinch of salt, sugar, and caraway seeds. Good eating!
